At the end of the day, families are what matter. Understanding that and understanding that I wanted to bring happiness to the world, that’s the happiness you bring, it’s families.
That’s one of the most exciting things about what I do. People who have been struggling for years have come in and when they leave pregnant with that baby they’re just so grateful and it’s just a tremendous feeling.”

“Working at The Center for Reproductive Health has given me the opportunity to learn so much from Dr. Robins. His knowledge in this field is immense and every day at work I am exposed and challenged to new material. He is passionate about patient care and constantly learning about the newest material to support our patients best. Our whole staff works closely encouraging and supporting each other so that we can give the best possible care to our patients. In this team environment we are able to celebrate together with our patients and support them through difficult times. It is a blessing and a privilege to walk through this journey with patients from beginning to end. I could not ask for a better team that is passionate about our Spokane community and supporting those individuals struggling with infertility.”
Ruth received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Avondale College, Cooranbong, Australia in 1997. After graduating she specialized in recovery room and anesthetic nursing. She became a clinical nurse specialist in 2002 and a nurse educator in 2006. She feels these roles have helped her immensely as she transitioned into reproductive medicine at CFRH.
“Everyone learns differently and therefore the education they require varies from person to person. It is such an honor to be able to share this intimate journey with couples through the highs and lows. It is rewarding knowing I may have made the process a little easier.”
She has a great appreciation for the team she works with. She values most that each of the staff has the patient’s best interest at heart as they care and nurture our patients through an often challenging and difficult process.
“There is nothing more satisfying than being proud of where you work. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Robins and his team. Dr Robins experience and knowledge is amazing but more than that he takes the time to look at each patient individually. He knows that there is not one right ‘recipe’ for everyone and instead takes the time finding the best possible option for each patient. This all flows down to the rest of the staff with their exceptional care.”
Ruth moved to Coeur d’Alene in July of 2017, from Sydney, Australia. She married Todd in September of that year when they blended families that they affectionately refer to as their “Brady bunch”. In her spare time she relishes time with her family and friends, getting out into the outdoors, enjoying the lake, and finding café’s that serve exceptional coffee.
