Dr. Edwin Robins

Industry leader, serving Spokane since 1998.

Edwin Robins, MD is Center for Reproductive Health’s Medical Director and a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist. He opened the Center in Spokane in 1998, and prior to moving to Spokane, Dr. Robins was an Associate Director at the Institute of Reproductive Medicine and Science of St. Barnabas.Dr. Robins served as head of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at the National Navy Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Robins received his M.D. degree and completed his residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He did a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health and Federal Fellowship Program, where he later started the assisted reproductive technology program. The author of numerous research papers, Dr. Robins also served as assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Robins is committed to treating every patient with dignity and respect and takes time to understand each case of infertility, ensuring you get the most effective approach to your care.

Dr. Robins has been helping people in Spokane conceive for over 20 years and has seen many complex cases. Embryology

James R. Broussard

Lab Director of Embryology and Andrology

James R. Broussard, Director of Embryology and Andrology, Ph.D.HCLD (AAB). Dr. Broussard is board certified as a High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) in embryology. He performed his graduate studies at Louisiana State University, obtaining a Masters (1992) and Ph.D. (1996) degree while majoring in reproductive physiology of the female. Dr. Broussard is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Gamma Sigma Delta and The American Board of Bioanalysts and has been involved in research resulting in 20 peer-reviewed publications involving various aspects of mammalian reproduction.

Nathan W. Cope

Administrator and Embryologist

Nathan Cope is from Hayden, Idaho. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Biology emphasizing in Human Biology. He attended Eastern Virginia Medical School where he earned his Master’s of Science degree in Reproductive Clinical Science-Embryology and Andrology. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys skiing with his family, all things cycling in the summer, and spending time with his wife and four kids. Nathan has been managing and working to improve the patient experience at the center since 2014. As an embryologist, he shows the care and attention needed to provide an optimal environment that is needed for your eggs, sperm, and embryos.

Nurse Coordinators

Our team of professionally-trained nurse coordinators will guide you through your care once you have seen Dr. Robins. You will establish a relationship with one of these nurses who will work with you individually through your entire course of treatment.

Miranda

Nurse Coordinator

Miranda is from Longview, WA and moved to Spokane in 2014. She received her Bachelor’s in the Science of Nursing from Washington State University College of Nursing. Miranda is a member of The American Society for Reproductive Management and has taken the Nurse Certificate Course in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Outside of work, Miranda loves exploring the Inland Northwest enjoying backcountry skiing, back-backing, snowboarding and mountain biking. “Working at The Center for Reproductive Health has given me the opportunity to learn so much from Dr. Robins. His knowledge in this field is immense and every day at work I am exposed and challenged to new material. He is passionate about patient care and constantly learning about the newest material to support our patients best. Our whole staff works closely encouraging and supporting each other so that we can give the best possible care to our patients. In this team environment we are able to celebrate together with our patients and support them through difficult times. It is a blessing and a privilege to walk through this journey with patients from beginning to end. I could not ask for a better team that is passionate about our Spokane community and supporting those individuals struggling with infertility.”

Alissa

Nurse Coordinator

Alissa grew up in Spokane, WA and moved down to California for three years for nursing school. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University School of Nursing, and then moved back up to Spokane to start her nursing career. Alissa worked as a Labor & Delivery Nurse before deciding to pursue her passion of fertility, as she herself was an IVF baby. She is working toward becoming a Certified Nurse in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Alissa spends most of her time outside of work with her soon-to-be husband and loves going to country music concerts, taking trips to any place with a beach, and spends every Tuesday night having tacos with friends.

MacKenzie

Nurse Coordinator

MacKenzie was born and raised in Spokane. She went to Spokane Community College for her Associate’s in Nursing and worked in Labor & Delivery. MacKenzie earned her nursing certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She loves being a part of helping people create and expand their family at the Center for Reproductive Health. MacKenzie enjoys skiing, boating, jet skiing, and anything outdoors. She also loves going to concerts, baking/decorating cakes, and spending time with friends and family. MacKenzie has a 5-year-old German Short-haired pointer named Rudy. 

Sammy

Nurse Coordinator

Sammy grew up in Jackson Hole, WY. She completed her bachelor’s in Health and Human Performance at the University of Montana. She then attended George Washington University where she completed her bachelor’s in nursing. Sammy and her husband then moved to Spokane where she started her career at the NICU before joining The Center for Reproductive Health. Sammy is a member of The American Society for Reproductive Management and has her Nursing Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Outside of work Sammy loves to travel, spend time on the lake, enjoy some good food, and complete half Ironman’s. 

Medical Assistant

Laura

Certified Medical Assistant

Laura was born and raised, right here, in Spokane! She went to a catholic school K-8th grade, then onto Rogers High School. Laura graduated from Spokane Community College in June of 2012 with a certificate in communications and an A.A.S for certified Medical Assistant. She has been with Dr. Robins for the last 10 years. Laura enjoys spending time with her 4 kids and dog named Zoey.

Karen

Egg Donor Coordinator

Karen grew up in Tucson, Arizona, then moved to Spokane in 1989. She attended college at Spokane Falls and received a nursing assistant certificate. She worked home care for several years, then at Northwest OB GYN. During that time, Dr. Robins came into town and opened CRH where Karen followed. She held a MA position, assisted the ARNP’s for several years, then was promoted to Nurse Coordinator. In 2019 Karen took a new role at CRH as Donor Egg Coordinator. She has worked with Dr. Robins for 23 years now. She enjoys spending time with her husband, five kids, and four grandkids. “My heart just understands our patients. It is important to me to let our patients know they are loved and cared for. I need them to know that this isn’t just a job. We, at the CRH, truly care.”

Michelle M. White is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Neuropsychologist and Behavioral Medicine specialist. She has personal and professional experience with infertility.
